A very attractive watch, somewhat retro and not overstated. If the longevity is there I will give it 5 stars.

Just purchased my second watch from Soner - this time it's the Legacy Empire quartz with both the brown alligator and the Heritage Forest Croc straps. The green dial and green alligator straps are just perfect!
Gold case with black dial and black strap give a low profile bling, and accentuate the mood of evening business events which I normally wear this watch for. The gold tone is also nice enough to positively distract ever judging new acquaintances in an evening social. Love the sharp-arrow second hand, gives a sense of precision. Butterfly clasp gives a good counter weight to the watch. Stepped side rims are a nice addition.
Suggestion for improvement toward my liking: this watch is more squared-shaped than I thought. I really like the ratio of the dial; it is not as elongated as the likes of the Longines Dolce Vita. BUT the the rectangular looks is over taken by a more square look of the face of the outer case. I wish the lateral width of the gold face is could be narrower. The steel(?) case is on the heavier end of what I would wear. While I am not a big fan of butterfly clasps, the clasp fits the watch well. The only reason this is not a five stars is that the case is more squared shaped than the dial, which give a sense of inconsistency and conflict for the OCD like mind. But for someone who is going for a bolder look, this should not be an issue.
Extremely satisfied with this wonderful watch. Worked perfectly with a black strap in a recent black tie event and dresses up a casual attire with the bracelet. The case looks custom made for my 6.5” wrist and the white dial goes with everything. Service is exceptional - Freddie personally answered my inquiries and sent half links multiple times due to carrier mess up. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Highly recommended.
A very thin beautiful blue color on the wrist. I love the thinner bezel on this model and the 11 years of battery life.

I have been looking for a rectangle watch for a long time, including a day spent on St. Thomas looking for the perfect watch, but to no avail. I don’t know how I hadn’t found Soner on the internet before now, but I’m so glad I did! The face is the perfect (not too small) size and the rich brown band offers the classic “timeless” look I’ve been searching for. I love watches and I change them out so I didn’t want to worry about the battery dying or continuous motion. The 11 year battery is ideal!
When I saw the photos of Soner watches I knew that was for me. So I bought the Nostalgia and it was better than I thought.The lines were buttifull along with the quality of the materials. And I was so impressed I bought two more, it is a perfect time piece that I know I will enjoy for a very long time!

I bought the Amorous Vienna (self winding) watch for my wife's birthday and she absolutely loves it.
The watch is good quality, well crafted and elegant in design. The curved case means that the watch sits comfortably on her small wrist.

This book is amazing, Freddie takes the reader on a journey through time, exploring horology and giving a deeper understanding of rectangular watches and the complucations watch makers face. A true gem and must buy for watch enthusiasts
Love the simple yet elegant design. It’s unique enough to peak people’s interest about it but is not overly flashy. I like that Söner has decided to stick exclusively with rectangular watches (my personal favorite for myself) and excel in it rather than trying to be the best at all watch types.
The personalized leather case is also a nice bonus.

If so, it is a good idea reading Freddie Palmgrens book Beyond Round Watches. It’s a statement of a true watch enthusiast demonstrating broad and deep knowledge. The book is easy and fun to read, informative and shows the passion of the author. I’m enjoying reading it.
