We're absolutely thrilled to share some incredible news with you: our watch design has been honored with a German Design Award 2026 in the Excellent Product Design category!
This isn't just any design award, it's one of the most prestigious and sought-after honors in the global design world. And we're still pinching ourselves that our watch is now among the chosen few.
An Elite Recognition
Here's what makes this achievement truly extraordinary: out of over 3,900 entries from 57 countries, only 27 designs received the German Design Award in the Excellent Product Design category. Twenty-seven. From nearly four thousand submissions.
That's less than 1% of all entries.
Our watch is now part of this incredibly exclusive group, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the world's most innovative and beautifully crafted products. It's a moment we'll never forget.
You Can't Just Enter, You Have to Be Chosen
Unlike most design competitions, the German Design Awards don't accept open applications. You have to be nominated first by expert committees of the German Design Council. This means that before we even entered the competition, industry leaders had already identified our work as something special, worthy of consideration among the world's best.
What followed was intense. A rigorous, multi-stage evaluation process. A two-day jury session with seventeen different nationalities represented, renowned designers, business leaders, academics, and industry experts from around the globe. They examined every aspect, every detail, every design decision.
And our watch made it through.
The Philosophy Behind the Design
When we set out to create this timepiece, we weren't just thinking about telling time. We were thinking about the relationship between form and function, between tradition and innovation, between what a watch has been and what it could become.
Every curve was considered. Every material choice debated. Every detail refined until it felt right. We obsessed over proportions, explored new finishing techniques, and pushed ourselves to create something that would stand the test of time, not just mechanically, but aesthetically and emotionally.
The German Design Awards recognize designs that are "excellent, holistic, and innovative", work that sets new standards and points the way forward for entire industries. To have our vision validated in this way, by this particular jury, means everything to us.
A Historic Year for Design
Winning in 2026 carries special significance. This is the year Frankfurt RheinMain has been named World Design Capital by the World Design Organization, making it the global hub for design, innovation, and creative excellence.
Our award ceremony will take place this February during Ambiente in Frankfurt am Main, where we'll present our winning design to an international audience. The spotlight on design has never been brighter, and we're honored to be part of this historic moment.
