When you are shopping for a good quality rectangular watch, options are more limited, and sometimes you get stuck between very expensive or very unatractive options.
Then comes soner with an excellent product, original and fairly priced for what you get.

Really chic dress watch bracelet, I paired this with a Farer Lissom 38mm dress watch and it looks fabulous. The low profile bracelet sits really well next to a slim profile dress watch. Highly recommended.
I bought a pair of Soner watches (Nostalgia Monaco and Amorous Vienna) on metal bracelets and accompanying leather straps. Very pleased with both watches on metal bracelets (polished silver and brushed gold). But I erroneously ordered over-sized leather straps though. Freddie kindly offered to ship me complementary smaller-size straps. First FedEx shipment is still held up in Memphis, Tennessee by US Customs (I reside in Canada, so why the delay?) for over a month now. So, he kindly re-shipped a second pair which I finally received today. Such great and friendly customer service! Also suggested Freddie to explore offering a moon phase version of the Soner watches. Would be very interested to get one again. All the luck to Freddie and Soner!
Finally, a watch company that really understands rectangle watches and not just add them to their line of watches as an afterthought. I was looking for a red dial rectangle watch to add to my collection and found these are few and far between. Unfortunately, the JLC Red Reverso was a wee bit out of my price range, as I would guess is the same for a lot of people.
Soner really nailed this watch. It is the perfect size, beautiful and wears like a dream. I purchased their quartz version since I was specifically looking for a lightweight watch that I did not have to worry about setting the time over and over. I currently own 57 watches from Casio to AP, so I can only rotate them every so often.
I cannot say enough about the quality, finishing and wearability of this watch and can only imagine these attributes run throughout their entire line. If anyone is looking for a rectangle style watch, they are doing themselves a disservice by not looking and comparing the quality, selection and price to Soner watches. This really should be the first and last place you will look for this style watch.
This is my second purchase. There will be a third. I receive many compliments, business and social. The design is even more beautiful in person, quality is far under-priced. Just buy one and see for yourself once you have it on your wrist!
I've been looking a long time for a self-winding rectangular watch that is super elegant and well-made AND reasonably-priced. I made my initial search about a year ago and wasn't completely satisfied. Then recently I tried again and I found the Soner brand. Wow. This is exactly what I wanted. Slim and very comfortable to wear, both with the leather strap and the mesh. Keeps good time. Looks really good. I'm especially fond of the mesh. In total punches above its cost!

The finish of the Momentum Harlingen is excellent and the black sunburst dial looks divine. The second hand has a nice design and sweeps smoothly with the Miyota movement. You get a lot of watch for the money.
The strap looks fantastic on my Momentum Harlingen Automatic watch. The dark brown and black alligator pattern and the stainless steel mesh strap also look great with the watch. The simple quick-change system makes it possible.

I always found rectangulars more appealing and classy than the round timepieces. I received a small gold vintage Hamilton tank (circa 1940) from my step grandfather (courtesy of my mom) when I was 15, but did not realize the distinction it carried with it when the digitals and quartz became the new fad in the seventies. I then lost interest in it. After fifty years, my new Amorous Vienna more than compensated for that loss and rekindled that piece of my past. It somehow restored memories of my long lost youth, and elevated my rectangular watch appreciation to a higher plane of excellence and experience. An heirloom worth passing on to another generation.

When I ordered my watch from Soner, I made a mistake and ordered the wrong size watch strap. I noticed my mistake the next day and contacted Soner, asking to revise my order. The customer service representative told me my watch had already been packaged for shipping, and it was too late to change it. I was told I could exchange the band after my watch was delivered. It was my mistake, I understood. But an hour later, I got an email from the CEO, Freddie Palmgren. My watch hadn’t yet left their offices, and he was able to find it and switch out the band before it shipped. My watch arrived a few days ago, and the new watch strap is perfect. The watch is beautiful and is keeping good time. My customer service experience with Soner sets the high standard in a world where good customer service is hard to find. Thank you, Mr. Palmgren, for saving the day. The next time I want a new watch, Soner will be my first choice, and it should be yours, too!
I really appreciate the lines of the watch the gold and white face. The rectangle shape is classic. I have a suggestion for the new watch, try a barrel shape and in stead of a round second hand try a square box for the second hand.
